  1. In commemoration of the centenary of the start of the Great War in 1914, DHP have collected over 70 stories from soldiers, sailors, nurses and airmen, to those  those left behind, the families and loved ones.  Running through this diverse collection is the collective will to give everything to the cause, which for  so many was the ultimate sacrifice of their life, leaving behind grieving families and friends.  Those who survived found that the Great War had changed their country forever..  Please do visit our exhibition in St Margaret's Church which runs until Remembrance Day.

  2. ______  This June, we took part in the Village celebration of 700 years of the Ditchling Fair.  Following the Fair theme of Past, Present, Future, DHP installed over 80 posters around the village showing different aspects of its past.  So many people told us how much they enjoyed seeing the old photographs and learning quirky facts, that we decided to make a short version of the trail available online - see our home page!

It's not too late to join in the celebrations.  If you have any memories of Ditchlng Fair contact us today via the email address on our contact page.
